Your log shows read failures during the scan, but you didn't supply the complete log, so I can't tell what handbrake did after completing the scan. Still, the result is the same, no? Actually i fluked upon too great simple to use programs called anydvd and myclone dvd.It sorted everything in no time. Anyhow, which tool do you recommend for Linux to back up those VOBs in the first place? My math students consider me a harsh grader.
