If they had not done this I would not buy another Epson product, but they handled my situation to my satisfaction so now I would consider purchasing more of their products. This should keep the piece in place for the future. The cap assembly can't clean the print head if the tube is detached. Remember to always run a nozzle test after every cleaning test ran, because Epson Printers use the nozzle test for a point of reference for the next cleaning test ran. Contact Epson.

Cleaned it 6 times and no joy. Carefully close the scanner and press it down until it clicks securely into place. When it opens, click-on "Epson Stylus Head Cleaning Solution" thats listed for your particular printer. I think the mention of the class action suit and that I had seen many other folks with this problem might have helped (Who knows, but the tech changed her tune I dont want to force it?
